Doyle Law Office, SC, has joined the law firm of Johns, Flaherty & Collins, SC. Steven Doyle became a partner on March 1, and paralegal Jane Peterson and legal assistant Becky Henry joined him in the move.
Doyle has been practicing law for 34 years, running Doyle Law Office throughout his career. He focuses primarily on family law, divorce, mediation, adoption, estate planning, probate, small business and real estate. His practice now has moved to Johns, Flaherty & Collins’ downtown La Crosse location in the historic Exchange Building.
“Joining Johns, Flaherty & Collins, SC, allows me to serve my clients even better. It’s a well-established, highly-respected firm with a team of attorneys practicing in a range of complementary areas,” said Doyle. “Interacting and consulting with partners here means I can offer more comprehensive services to my clients in whatever stage of life or business they’re in.”
Doyle began practicing law in 1986 when he graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison. He is actively involved in the community and currently serves as a La Crosse County Board Supervisor and Wisconsin State Representative. He has also volunteered countless hours serving on boards of directors for Family & Children’s Center, Family Resource Center (now Parenting Place) and Coulee Region Humane Society where he also served as board president.
Johns, Flaherty & Collins Managing Partner Brent Smith said the partners are proud Doyle selected their firm for the partnership. “Steve is a seasoned attorney who brings a wealth of experience to our practice, and he’s a La Crosse native. He believes community service goes hand-in-hand with the practice of law and, in both roles, works to improve the lives of the people he serves.”
